Privacy at BnCheck
Cookie Policy
What we store in your browser and how you can control it.
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Optional cookies stay disabled until you accept them. You can change your choice at any time.
Cookie settings1. What cookies are and who uses them
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. They can maintain a session, remember preferences or measure site use. Local storage (localStorage) serves similar purposes but is not automatically sent to the server with each request.
The controller for cookies on bncheck.com is Roberto Carlos Solís García, Spanish NIF 48761636A, Australian ABN 49 279 306 227. Contact [email protected]. This policy covers the website; native apps do not load the web tracking providers described here.
2. Cookies we use
We distinguish between necessary and optional cookies. Google Analytics and Meta cookies are stored on the site’s domain, but their providers may process the associated data. They are used only when the service is enabled and you accept its category.
Necessary
These provide the requested service, maintain security and remember your choices. They are exempt from the consent requirement under Article 22.2 of the Spanish LSSI.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
BNCHECKSESSID / BNCHECKSESSID_* |
BnCheck | Maintain your session and protect access. The name varies by environment. | Up to 90 days; may end earlier on sign-out or invalidation. |
bn_locale |
BnCheck | Remember the language selected on the sign-in screen. | 365 days. |
bnc_cookie_consent |
BnCheck | Store your cookie choices and their date and version. | 365 days from saving your choice. |
Analytics · optional
Google Analytics 4 helps us measure visits, navigation and performance in aggregate. We do not load this service without analytics consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_ga |
Google Ireland Limited | Distinguish browsers to produce visit statistics. | Up to 2 years, depending on Google Analytics settings. |
_ga_* |
Google Ireland Limited | Maintain the measurement session state. | Up to 2 years, depending on Google Analytics settings. |
Marketing · optional
Meta Pixel measures advertising campaigns and attributes conversions. We do not load it without marketing consent.
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
_fbp |
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited | Identify the browser to measure campaigns and conversions. | Typically up to 90 days. |
_fbc |
Meta Platforms Ireland Limited | Associate a visit with a Meta ad click, when that information is available. | Typically up to 90 days. |
Durations reflect configured or typical service settings; browsers may shorten them and some providers may renew them on later visits. See Google’s information about GA4 cookies and Meta’s Cookie Policy.
3. Local storage
We also save bnc_cookie_consent in localStorage with the same choice, date and version as the cookie. A choice is valid only for 365 days. When it expires or the version changes, we ask again and keep optional tracking blocked.
Some features store technical interface preferences or the bnc_is_twa flag to recognise the app context. These local values are not used for campaign measurement and may remain in your browser until deleted or replaced by the app.
4. How to choose or withdraw consent
The banner lets you accept all, reject optional cookies or configure analytics and marketing separately. Optional categories are unchecked by default. Continuing to browse or scrolling does not imply consent.
Review your choice using this button, “Cookie settings” in the footer or the floating button. Rejecting optional cookies does not prevent use of BnCheck’s basic features.
Withdrawing a category blocks new events and deletes its cookies accessible from this site, including older analytics cookies _gid and _gat if present. Withdrawal does not affect earlier processing or directly delete cookies on other domains; you can remove those in your browser.
5. Data, third parties and transfers
With your consent, Google Analytics and Meta may receive technical connection, browser and interaction data. BnCheck limits its event parameters to technical information such as paths without URL parameters, language, plan or button location. It does not add names, emails, telephone numbers, credentials, entered text, or guest, property or booking data or identifiers to these events.
Providers may process information outside the European Economic Area using applicable safeguards, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses. See their policies for details of processing and safeguards: Google privacy and Meta privacy.
Property pages may offer a Google Maps map that loads when you press its button. Opening it sends technical connection data to Google under its policy. External services you visit through links apply their own policies.
For more about personal data processing, legal bases and your rights, see our Privacy Policy.
6. Browser settings, contact and updates
You can block or delete cookies and local data in your browser’s privacy settings. Deleting your saved choice makes us show the banner again; blocking necessary cookies may affect sign-in and other requested features.
For enquiries, contact [email protected]. You can also consult the AEPD cookie guide or lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency.
We update this policy when cookies or their purposes change. If a change requires a new choice, we request consent again before enabling optional categories.
